The Security Battle Droid is a Battle Droid which specializes in the areas of security. They are seen mainly in The Phantom Menace and Revenge of the Sith, from attacking unprepared Jedi Knights to guarding unarmed prisoners. They are usually on guard on Trade Federation battleships and command bridges.

Two versions of the Security Battle Droid have been released:
The first had red markings on the head and a red torso, but the new version did not have any head markings. However, it also came with the new model battle droid arms so that a gun could be held in one hand.
