Description
Edit
The Senate Commando Captain is entirely blue with white markings that distinguish it from the Senate Commando. His helmet is a piece which is exclusive to this minifigure and the Senate Commando.
Background
Edit
Senate Commando Captains were officers in the Senate Commandos, a group of elite soldiers within the Senate Guard, who frequently acted as bodyguards. The only physical difference between a Senate Commando Captain and an average Senate Commando is the white markings on the Captain's blue armor.
Notes
Edit
- Like previous Senate Commandos, the head of the Commando is that of a Clone Trooper, even though in the Star Wars Universe, Senate Commandos are not clones.
- A Senate Commando Captain's visor is proportionately smaller than that of a regular Senate Commando.
- In the Summer 2010 UK Argos catalogue, the Senate Commando Captain is called a 'Senate Commando Officer'.
- Like a standard Senate Commando, the captain has the same ridge/crest on his helmet, even though in "Star Wars: The Clone Wars", his ridge/crest is much larger.
