A Shadow Stormtrooper, also known as a Black Hole Trooper, is a minifigure whose armor color is inverted to the standard Stormtrooper. Shadow stormtroopers have better stealth capabilities than stormtroopers and were used in many operations. They have not made any appearances in the Star Wars movies, and are based from the Expanded Universe.

- LEGO Lists Shadow Stormtroopers as Shadowtroopers, however in the Star Wars Universe Shadowtroopers are Dark-Jedi soldiers who carry lightsabers and do not resemble this minifigure.
