This list is for terms which occur specifically for LEGO.

  • AFOL- Adult Fan of LEGO.
  • ALE- Adult LEGO Enthusiast. Alternate for AFOL.
  • BURP- Big Ugly Rock Piece- A popular term that refers to the Lego pieces 6082 Panel 4 x 10 x 6 Rock Rectangular and 6083 Panel 3 x 8 x 7 Rock Triangular.
  • KFOL- Kid Fan of LEGO.
  • LUGs- LEGO Users Groups.
  • MOC- My Own Creation- A custom LEGO model designed by the respective builder.
  • SNIR- Studs Not In a Row- A term that refers to several building techniques where bricks are not placed in straight lines that follow the rectangular grid of the plates. Instead, the bricks are implemented in a way so that the resulting lines or walls are oblique in respect to the plate's stud pattern.
  • SNOT- Studs Not On Top- A building technique which characterizes in building in all directions, except upward.
  • TFOL- Teenaged Fan of LEGO.
  • TLC- The LEGO Company. Also The LEGO Group (TLG)
