Specs is a minifigure from the LEGO Dino Attack theme released in 2005.

Description[]

Specs has two variants that differ in torso and helmet. The first variant has a black torso with chemicals belted across his torso, and a black aviator's helmet. The second variant has a dark stone grey vest with multiple tools, and a black crash helmet with a transparent brown visor. Both variants have black arms and pants, dark stone grey gloves, and a medium stone grey balaclava that covers his entire face except for his eyes.

Background[]

Specs is the squad leader of the Dino Attack team.[1] He is a scientist in many fields including chemistry, biology, paleontology, and nuclear physics, and he applies his technology skills to create the weaponry used by Dino Attack team, including the Xenon Multi-Mode Launcher. He would rather capture and study the mutant dinosaurs instead of exterminate them, leading to him having heated arguments with Shadow. After saving the city and driving out the dinosaurs, Specs commends his team but regrets not learning more about the dinosaurs' mysterious origins.

SPECS
Specs is a chemist, biologist, paleontologist, and nuclear physicist. He invented most of the equipment used by the team, including the Xenon Multi-Mode Launcher, and is the most skilled technician of them all. Part of him wishes the team could capture the dinosaurs for study, or at least try to discover the root cause for their attack. He clashes with Shadow over tactics and strategy and gets frustrated because Shadow does whatever he likes regardless of orders.
