Sulfurix is a species of Rock Monster in the year 2009 from the Power Miners line. Character and appearance make it unique from other LEGO figures. There are two variations in colour between the physical and online model-the physical is trans-green, and the online model is trans-yellow. Much like Meltrox, Sulfurix has only appeared in three LEGO sets.
Description
Like every rock monster similar to him, Sulfurix has been designed with three of the same features minifigures have: detachable arms, hands that have the ability of holding any objects minifigures can, and feet that can attach to any LEGO stud. Another characteristic that makes these creatures unique is a mouth that opens, revealing the hollow inner portion that can hold a crystal.
Background
Sulfurix derives its name from the element Sulphur. The creature dwells underground, is a clever and sly creature, and appears where least expected. These Rock Monsters have the ability to create tunnels by melting through rock. In addition, crystals can be eaten very quickly by these creatures.
