Discussion[]

There is actually no 4-LOM in the Death Star set. On the box and in the description at Lego Shop@Home it says the set contains a death star droid, which looks like a black C-3PO and not 4-LOM.

Description without 4-LOM: Includes 24 minifigures and droids, plus all-new Dianoga™ trash compactor monster! Includes 6 new and exclusive minifigures and droids only found in this set: Luke Skywalker™ (Stormtrooper™ outfit), Han Solo™ (Stormtrooper outfit), Assassin Droid™, Interrogation Droid, Death Star Droid and 2 Death Star Troopers™! Also includes Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi™, C-3PO™, R2-D2™, Princess Leia™, Chewbacca™, Luke Skywalker (Jedi Knight), Darth Vader™, Grand Moff Tarkin™, Emperor Palpatine™, 2 Stormtroopers, 2 Emperor's Royal Guards™, R2-Q5™, and mouse droid!.

I think this should be corrected in both articles. I would have done it, but it might be deemed as vandalism. --Future74 20:28, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Rename[]

I renamed it because it is not a Death Star droid. Death Star droids are RA-7 protocol droids, while this is either a 3PO or a TC. "Imperial Espionage Droid" is a more generic term that is correct and can refer to any type of protocol droid stationed on the Death Star. CloneMarshalCommanderCody (talk) 16:03, June 14, 2014 (UTC)

Per Brickipedia:Manual of Style#LEGO_Minifigures It must be named what LEGO calls it, so in this case the proper name is Death Star Droid.--Toa Matau Destiny 16:17, June 14, 2014 (UTC)

"Unless the name clearly contradicts the name of the character it is meant to represent." I'd say this is the case. LEGO's name is clearly incorrect, and it is confusing because there is also an article for the real death star droid, the RA-7 Protocol Droid.
