[edit] Advertising for Brickipedia
I'd like to suggest two pages via which Brickipedia could advertise. The first is a site directory which, to some sites advantage but to others disadvantage, relies on hits coming in to move up and get towards the top of the page. The second displays sites on a first-come-first-serve basis. http://www.sites.brickit.org and http://www.buttons.brickit.org are the two links. If you would rather for the second page get me a button, preferably 88x31, I can add it for you instead of using the email link. However for the first one, the directory, we prefer if the sites owner or at least a staff member submit the site so they can manage the information if need be without contacting our staff. [edit] Models
Are we able to put in examples of custom models? Say, a page of example airplanes, or fire hydrants, or spheres, etc. Perhaps to make this into a Lego builders wiki, complete with tutorials and techniques, as opposed to just another informational wiki. If you look at a programmers wiki (say, the tcl wiki), then you have pages filled with programs. (including some really nice games.) This is obvious, since the whole point of a programming language is to write your own programs. Likewise, the whole point of Legos is to build your own models. You probably noticed this already, but this wiki is way behind. Post any suggestions you have here, and hopefully editors will research and put articles. I have a suggestion. [edit] Feair play guidelines
I came across Lego's fair play guidelines today and I think it's important for the community here to be aware of these. One point in the guidelines is that the logo should not be used on unofficial fan sites like this one. I think it's reasonable within the article about Lego, but not as decoration on pages like Portal:Themes or Template:Featured. Does anyone have any ideas about an alternate image that could be used there? Perhaps the Brickipedia logo itself would be good in those places. Angela (talk) 17:32, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

- Final Duel I will be next month featured article. Any user can change the featured article at discussion page (Template talk:Featured article) of the featured article-template. [edit] Wiki Changes
- Hi, was wondering whether the following template would be more appropriate for {{IDRIVE}}. It gets rid of the blue rectangle at the side that the old one had, and removes the Star Wars reference in the top line. Just wanted to see if it was ok to implement, and whether any improvements can be suggested.

Also, this may have been discussed previously when a new logo was being chosen, but does the current logo seem to be too Star Wars oriented? Since this wiki covers all Lego, shouldn't the logo be more universal? Any comments? NighthawkLeader 23:52, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- love the new improvement template idea. Also i absoultley agree with the logo thing. I suggest either it is a theme a week or forthnight; for example, First City, then Castle, then Space etc. They do something similar at Nintendo when new games are released. Kingcjc 15:25, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

I am new here and started making articles about the parts by Element ID. Should we have an infobox for them? It would have a picture (obviously), colours, price (USD, GBP, EUR), and probably the amount of studs. We could also put the "synonyms", or printed bricks w/ a seperate ID.
