The Royal Blacksmiths is an episode from Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu Season 2. In it, Cole meets his father and attempts to win the second Fangblade in a talent contest. The Fangblade is in a trophy called the "Blade Cup". The blade was apparently found by Clutch Powers and put into the trophy. Every year a talent show is held to declare Ninjago's most talented. The ninja win the competition but they are ambushed by the Serpentine. The Serpentine are able to escape with the fang blade while Cole saves his father, Lou.
