      To expand, basicly, they all seem quite...minimalist. Like, the vehicles designed literally so the clone has somewhere to stand and you have something small to build so Hasbro don't moan about infringing.

      What's with all these clones with the random colors.. I like them-a lot, but it's so hard to keep up with them as it is! tell the difference between episode 2 and episode 3 redesigned phase 2, phase 1 and phase 1 redesigned but episode 2 blah.. I know the difference, but trying to explain it to someone who doesn't know and trying to sort through minght figuring out which ones I have and which ones I need is a little confusing. Now I saw two new ones so far with different blue markings, hope they have different names and are not just "Clone Trooper!"

      I like the new A-Wing Pilots, kinda curious why they have an open faced helmet though, with no visor-though it could be there and I just might not be able to see it. I also like how there's a new Han! Finally!!

      A very pleasant surprise to find the sets online so quickly! Ahem...My thoughts...

      Star Wars: Interesting sets and backgrounds(I need some time to adjust to Yoda kicking at the top right hand corner...), but no sets give me the 'wow' expression except the Rancor Pit, which we have seen earlier.

      First post updated.

      Anyway, here are my thoughts, I know very late (I finally decide to take a short break, so of course images would finally come out :P)

      • 75000- Great to see a ranked Phase I clone trooper :) Hopefully we'll see a blue lieutenant, a red captain or major, and a yellow commander somewhere down the line. And, I like the design on Episode II standard clones, they look much more movie-like to me than the TCW ones, honestly I didn't think they'd bother changing the armour for ep2 (I thought they'd just change the head piece). Droidekas also look ok for such few parts, although they don't really look as "ball-shaped" as previous versions. The vehicle... is weird. Obviously I'll only be getting this set for the figs.
      • 75001- TOR! That gun on one of the Republic troopers looks pretty cool :) And the red Sith trooper looks great and accurate (ref pic). The vehicle also looks nice to me as well, although, I really think they're cutting right down on parts in the BP's :S Does anyone know what squad these Republic troopers are meant to be from?
      • 75002- 501st trooper! :) (yeah, this wave really seems to be about getting new trooper minifigs more than anything). AT-RT is looking good to me, as is the Sniper Droideka, apart from the visible yellow TECHNIC bit
      • 75003- pretty much what I expected, A-wing pilot's helmet looks interesting, and it's great to finally see the concussion missile launchers mounted above the laser cannons (not beside them)
      • 75004- guess what I'm excited about? The minifigures! That 501st pilot looks amazing. As for the ship- very disappointed, I was hoping for a 501st blue colour scheme, using this red and white, I get the feeling I'm going to be thinking it's basically like building the TOR Republic fighter or the latest X-wing :/
      • 75006-11- not really any big surprises there, interesting to see leg printing on the Snowspeeder pilot, and the B-wing pilot looks really detailed. The TIE pilot also appears to have a new torso
      • 75012- again, the set is basically what I expected. Very nice surprise to see a new Obi-Wan though. Rex- very happy about the helmet, very disappointed that they seem to be bringing in felt for kamas and pauldrons now. The plastic pieces were much better in my opinion (and obviously had no chance of fraying over time)
      • 75013- this set would be perfect... except for Ahsoka's second lightsaber. A standard-sized green blade? Her second blade is a shoto, honestly I thought the reason why they were making those transparent 3/4 lightsaber beams for space guns in the collectable minfigures was so one day we'd have shotos when it was appropriate, ie now. And a green blade? Her shoto is orangy-yellow, never green. A huge error in an otherwise epic set, with great minifigures (new Ahsoka, 212th trooper, even the Umbarans, although I think they could have benefited from Alien Conquest guns more than standard blasters)

      Anyway, sorry for the textwall, I'm just excited to see images :P

      9/10 chance it's just preliminary until they have the right pieces. 9/10 chance the real pieces will be better.

      Yes, Krell is definitely a prelim, and not even a prelim, more of a placeholder. You can see him on the box of the more recent unwatermarked images, and it looks much more like him.

      Note (and this applies to all 2013 threads)- do not download the catalogue posted on EB on the TMNT forum- there's absolutely nothing new on it, so it's a waste of a download. I did it to see the rest of the Super Heroes line, but it only had the two sets each that we've already seen.

      @The above 7 posts: That shot of Krell was a placeholder. We have boxart images showing a Krell that looks like Krell, which were made public before the prelim

      I am really sick that figs are being stolen from factories probably by workers, and yet lego does nothing or at least so far. On side note what is HR? and if it mean's higher-res pics, didn't we already get some?

      NB, I know whatcha mean, I've been trying to supplement my Disability by buying and selling StarWars minifigs cause I know them, I know what I can get and what I should buy, etc, and it sucks because people are just selling them for 1 or 2 bucks cause they're stolen from the factory or from the stores, etc and it's hard to make my money back =/ I'm also trying to collect them all and have about every version of every fig-cause I'm OCD like that-and LOVE them! They're coming out with SO MANY new ones I LOVE it and hate it at the same time cause now the OCD in me has to get them all! Good thing I'm going back to work soon! But I LOVE this one! He's so Badd ass looking! I liked the black one, but I like this one better, I love the red!

      So, 79014- thoughts? Personally, I'm fed up with every single Hoth set having a Snowspeeder in it- they're sets of Hoth, not of the factory floor of the Incom Corporation. Other than the Snowspeeder though, everything sounds pretty interesting to me, and will be good to get a General Rieekan as well. But I really wish they'd make a shield generator sometime... (without a Snowspeeder included solely to make the cost of the set go up)

      The snowspeeder in the Wampa Cave was a nice addition... although that string was hard to place... =P But, when overused, although they're an essential part of the Hoth battle, they become unenjoyable.

      About the Battle of Hoth set: Why do we have 2x Luke Skywalker?

      The Mandalorian Speeder soundsinteresting to me, just like jabba's sail barge (hoping on a redesigned leia slave).

      Maybe the Yoda Chronicles is a combination of sets, for example the Rebuplic Gunship, Yoda Vs Dooku and another set?

      @newly announced sets: worst.wave.ever. Easily the most uninspiring lineup I've seen in a very long time. 75018 and 22 are the only ones which aren't remakes :/ (don't get me wrong, I'll be glad to get a half-decent Dooku finally, and maybe a new Anakin with a green lightsaber?) I bet they make a heap of great new minifigs though to try to convince me to re-buy all the things I basically already have though :/

      Here's my thoughts:
      75015: I got the old one, but a new one would be cool. Not all that interesting.
      75016: I dunno what this is, so I can't really judge it
      75017: Sounds interesting, nice.
      75018: No idea what this is.
      75019: When it's released it'll be 5 years since the old one. Sounds cool.
      75020: Not very interested
      75021: HS!!!!!!! *faint*. YES! This is what I've been waiting for! I wasn't able to get the last one, but hopefully this one will be REALLY GOOD!
      75022: Sounds very cool.
      Overall, I think that this line-up is good, but most seem to be ep2 rather than TCW (which is my favorite part). My favorite would definitely be 75021, but I dunno about a second. Lots of other ones seem good.

      It's funny how people say things like this and then when images are leaked people say they are awesome and that it's one of the best waves ever etc.

      IMO the summer wave is fine, but there is to many AOTC sets that are based on The Battle Of Geonosis, it would be nice to get a Zam speeder set, but these will do I guess. And we are still missing one more set(the second exclusive).

      cool!! I like the new sets. I think are better than the 2012 ones...

      But I am disappointed about how the new phase II helmets looks like :| . The old ones where better imo..

      only differance between the Lego 501st Helmet and Movie 501st Helmet is that the Mouth thing is a little high, and the helmet is a little skiny like the Phase 1 Helmet

      More things to talk about sadly no ep 3 stuff maybe the gunship will be phase 2 but sad thing we get phase 1 clones why Lego the phase 1 ep 2 look wierd the front visor looks too small and no arc trooper wow Lego you can make an arc trooper by adding an blue one in the gunship and we can add the rest

      I agree, I don't like the new clone trooper helmets.. They're ugly! Lol. I love love the blue 501st clone though, ahh, I need to get all these new figures, there's sooo many!! I'm overwhelmed! I feel my minifigure collection will NEVER be complete :( lol I know :( sad! There's no real set I overwhelmingly like.. I hear ya on the snow speeder.. Kinda lame, what's this the 4th set with one? At least there's a Rieekan!

      I do also like the new snow speeder pilots. I hope they remake a new wedge too, he still has a plain generic face! I don't think I'll be buying any of these sets.. I'll buy the figs from someone, lol but not the sets, they're all pretty lame, I agree with you there @NBS.

      I actually haven't seen the clone wars series in full, so I don't know too much about these new sets either, but I like Krell,. Maybe I'll get that set because I like the 501st clone trooper and clone pilot, their both awesome!

      I actually AM fond of the new helmets. They dont differ too much from the old ones, and have those little holes in them so you can customise them. I think they will be a great addition.

      Thy should make the A-Wing fighter be Ackbar, Han and Tycho.. None of this A-Wing pilot crap anymore, I want to see some more real characters!! Tycho flew an A-Wing in the battle of Endor.. He should totally be the pilot in this set, or another one! Hehe. I also want to see and updated Wedge, a Wes Janson, a Corran Horn and maybe even a Gavin Darklighter... Also maybe a flesh colored Biggs. They should make a Battle of Folor set or Battle of Borlais, and include all of rogue squadron.. In one set.. How cool would that be :D

      I can't see it being Obi-Wan- they wouldn't have the stand-in with dark robes and brown hair would they? :S

      Ground assault Jedi part of the strike team I can find wearing dark robes and have long brown hair:

      But the most likely I think is Stass Allie- she has dark robes, and I'm not sure if this is lighting, but the head seems a bit darker than Anakins and Padmé's. Also, people have actually heard of her. And it's possible the hair could be a stand-in for a Tholothian headdress

      I consider myself a casual Star Wars fan and though I didn't know her name, I do remember Allie, unlike any of the others, so she does sound the most likely.

      It does not look like he/she has a darker head but even if he/she did, he/she looks to have a hair piece so I doubt it's Stass. He/she also seems to have Black robes, not brown, and a Blue lightsaber, not Green, so I think Sar Labooda is a perfect fit. He/she could also be a random made up character thrown in by LEGO.

      Any thoughts for who will be in the Defender-Class Cruiser? I don't play TOR, so here's an uneducated guess:

      • Hero of Tython (yes, he/she doesn't have a gender/name/face, but will have to sometime like Jaden Korr, Meetra Surik and Revan. This is a late 2013 set, we might get some during that time. And since he/she owns this ship, it'd be logical that the set would be based around one of the main characters from the series)
      • Kira Carsen
      • Archiban Frodrick Kimble
      • Scourge (Sith) - we're going to have to have a Sith species minifigure sometime :)
      • T7-O1
      • Satele Shan (Master variant) - unlike the others, she didn't travel with the Hero of Tython, but she did give him the ship.

      The other two companions of the Hero, C2-N2 and Fideltin Rusk I don't think would be feasible because of the new moulds required. I think we'd get a Mas Amedda before we got any other Chagrian (although, we did get Krell and we still don't have a Dex...)

      So, the addition of Adi Gallia brings the maximum number of minifigures depicting High Councillors at any one time up to 11- we just need Oppo Rancisis and we've got a full Council :P I was thinking making a Thisspiasian minifigure would be unrealistic, but we do have Serpentine tails (or even better, the Genie's tale), and for the head area you could use a white Gandalf beard and white version of the Kimono Girl's hair... there's always hope :)

      So, the addition of Adi Gallia brings the maximum number of minifigures depicting High Councillors at any one time up to 11- we just need Oppo Rancisis and we've got a full Council :P I was thinking making a Thisspiasian minifigure would be unrealistic, but we do have Serpentine tails (or even better, the Genie's tale), and for the head area you could use a white Gandalf beard and white version of the Kimono Girl's hair... there's always hope :)

      It is a HQ image, it's just small. Look I'm pretty sure that it's final (like I said before, the sets have been in the making since spring of 2012).

      I'm off topic, but I just finished the Executor. Whew! 3000-plus pieces! Biggest set my son and I have ever done. He wanted the Death Star, which I see as a more child based set, but I got the SSD for $100.00 less than list. Working on the Sith Fury and Mandalorian fighter now. I have to say that the Old Republic/Expanded Universe stuff is what really grabbed my attention. I snapped up two Republic Strike fighters and several of the Sith vs Republic army builders. I also love the Z-95 Headhunter, a sort of second line fighter used by smaller systems and smugglers. I love the dagger-like appearance.

      I Did it!! I bought 75000, 75001, and 75003 today! I have only built 75001 so far, I don't know why but I am obsessed with the Sith Troopers. I think they are so Badd ass! The republic troopers are so cool too! I'd have bought the set just for the figs! Only beef: there are four different heads. The directions show you only one head which goes on a republic trooper.. And you are left to essentially guess which of the remaining three different heads go on the remaining three different figs. Anyone have any idea? Anyone know how we can get an official affirmation of which head goes with which figure? Well, onto build 75000 right now!! I love droidekas!!! And I think these sergeant clone troopers are cool, I like the shade of green! I guess before opening it, I don't like how the box only identifies the green armed clone as the sgt and it doesn't identify what the title and/or rank of the other clone figure is. Doesn't give him a name or anything. I've brought that up before how I wish these clones were given more specific names, even the A-Wing pilot in set 75003! I wish he were named--Tycho perhaps!! :x

      One person suggested that the lack of "official" Sith heads and one Republic head was so that you chose, and got to customise your army, which I guess could be a good thing. Personally I'm with you though, and would rather know who has what head, but there isn't any official configuration for them. The most commonly used setup I'm seeing are as 1000ArrowMistre said- the smiling heads for the Republic Troopers, and the serious ones for the Sith, but I've seen the serious heads equally used on either of the Sith.

      As far as not liking not having the white clone's rank- his rank is probably Trooper :P White-armoured clones either have the rank of Trooper or Corporal, so I think it's easiest to just think of him as a Trooper. I like having unnamed troopers though- otherwise you can end up with two copies of one unique trooper (eg, Captain Rex who appears in three sets, Commander Cody appears in two) and you can't use them together.

      And actually I think there's a chance the A-wing pilot might be based on Celchu- he's the only member of Green Squadron whose face seems to match the minifigure

      I feel your pain. One of my Lord of The Rings minifigs had the head printing low. I hate when that happens! Also, I bought the A-Wing, Old Republic Battle Pack and the Rancor Pit from Amozan, They should get to me on Saturday.

      I'll be quite disappointed if the Special Forces Clone Trooper is final. It annoys me anyway that they made a new, non-canon clone when a cool and canon one like a clone assassin or a covert operations clone would seem to have fitted just as well, but it horrifies me that they would do it that badly. :P. I mean, it's a blue stormtrooper. With a shield. They could at least make some sort of effort. It looks like something a five-year-old would come up with.

      FBTB reported that 75016 Homing Spider Droid also came with a "smaller spider droid", which I'm guessing is referring to a Dwarf Spider Droid:

      75016 Homing Spider Droid … again, similar to 7681 from 2008, although it’s somewhat bigger all round and comes with a smaller spider droid.

      I was studying the pictures of wave two Star Wars sets, and I realized that the Special Forces Clone Trooper isn't the only thing LEGO has beem lazy with. The Sith Bounty Hunter's helmet is a white Mandalorian helmet! But LEGO probably has a reason for this. With all the new molds needed for the Episode II sets, they probably didn't have time to create any more.

      And the Homing Spider Droid DOES come with a dwarf spider droid! But LEGO should have made him in brown.

      So, thoughts on the new sets?

      Here's mine anyway:

      • 75015- Tank Droid does seem to be a bit of an improvement, may as well pick it up. Jango looks pretty good, no real surprises about what he looks like, except it's nice to see he has back printing. Not happy that they're using Boba's face for him though... The Geonosis Battle Droids look a little too orange for my liking, but they're not bad, and I like the addition of the Technic pieces to the Clone's rifles, it does make them look much more accurate.
      • 75016- Both Spider Droids look great, there seem to be some significant updates to the originals, especially to the centre of the homing spider droid. But why did it have to be Stass Allie instead of Adi Gallia? ;(
      • 75017- A great set, good to see we got the falling pillar, and I like the doorway/walls. New Yoda looks amazing, FA-4 actually vaguely resembles FA-4, Poggle looks very nice, and Dooku comes with a lightning piece, and finally we have a good movie-edition face for him (and it's even double-sided).
      • 75018- Since they're not based on "real" SW characters, I can't get super-interested in it, but will still pick it up. Why we're getting LEGO LEGO Star Wars sets is a bit beyond me, but the translucent blue arm can give us hope for Force ghosts (though making an arm translucent is one thing, making legs and a body translucent is another), and a white lightsaber hilt could be useful.
      • 75019- The AT-TE surprised me, along with the Sail Barge. It actually does seem to have some significant improvements, mainly to the interior and the ability to access the interior (like the Sail Barge). Trebor looks amazing, the Clone commander is a must-have, and I don't know why Mace has white legs, but I still want him. Will probably get this (like the other expensive remakes) on a sale.
      • 75020- Nice to see how much it can unfold, it should make it a bit more playable than the original. All the new minifigures look amazing- Leia's hairpiece :O Can't believe how nice Ree-Yees and Max Rebo are as well.
      • 75021- A couple of nice improvements here and there to the set, but again, since it's a remake, it's mainly about the minifigures. Which are again, really good. Padmé is (obviously) a huuuge improvement over her TCW version :P But a very nice minifigure overall, and great to see the clawed back printing. I wouldn't have expected that hair with Anakin, but I'd say it works pretty well, and good to get him with a green lightsaber. The big disapointment for me is the Clone pilot's helmet, which should have been a new mould :/
      • 75022- It's just a speeder, but it looks pretty well designed, and I like hidden flick-fire missiles. And those Super commandos look pretty impressive. Maul scares me, but he's been TCW-ified I guess. And, it's obvious the set was made long before the TCW episode was released, due to the lack of robes and robotic legs, but I guess it's something a bit different.
      • 75023- Looks like there's enough weapons to go around this time (although the Geonosian may not have one). Like Obi-Wan, Boba looks much better with that hairpiece than the one that made them look like girls. The redesigned Scout Trooper was the main surprise though- didn't we just get a redesigned trooper in 2012? Indicates to me we'll be getting a few Scout Troopers in 2014 (or sooner, with the rumoured UCS Ewok Village)

      All in all, still easily my least favourite lineup by far for a very long time (possibly ever) since they're nearly all remakes, but it does look better than I imagined it to be. Can't wait to see what the Defender-class cruiser looks like though, it's the one I've been mainly waiting for (followed by the Skyhopper).

      @The white-robed Mirialan- it looks like it's possible that this may be Barsen'thor- if you choose to play as the female Jedi Consular in TOR, it appears that you can wear a white Luminara-looking headdress. The Jedi Consular is also one of three main characters to have a Defender-class corvette in the game. Obviously the fact that she has a green-bladed lightsaber indicates she's a Consular as well. The companions with Barsen'thor also look easier to make than the companions of the Hero of Tython- they're mainly humans and near-humans, except for a male Twi'Lek and a Trandoshan, and we already have moulds for those two species.

      The problem with that is he wouldn't look like Jango Fett though. Without the grey and blue helmet, he'd just look like some random Mandalorian. Still, a red and green helmet would have been nice, not only to look more Christmas-y, but to just have a Mandalorian helmet in a different color.

      Star Wars actually appeals to me for once. We have non-Anime Jedi and characters from the Prequel Trilogy and most of them actually look good. I have kind of gotten tired of the Original Trilogy, myself, and characters from the Phantom Menace don't interest me all that much (Queen Amidala though. <3).

      The sets don't look too bad. At least the vehicles seem complete, for once. What I have seen of the OT vehicles are usually fine, the the Prequel and CW ones are definitely not.

      Whatever JEK-14 is, he looks interesting. I don't like the Santa Jango though. It is just a repaint and not as cute as the Santa Yoda or Darth Maul. Speaking of Darth Maul, his Clone Wars variant looks absolutely hideous. I am glad to see that there is only one CW set this time around (at least that I saw), but it is really bland.

      Well, I am probably not getting anything, per usual, but it at least interests me for once.

      I hate the commandos they look terrible awful and messed up and plz should of came with darth maul (robes from shade of reason/lawless) Bo katan and an savage with grey right hand or obi wan with full death watch armor

      Does anyone here think that Poggle's hologram might get printing? Because I pretty sure that in the movie (I haven't seen the prequils in a while) he has a hologram of the Death Star, like the one that comes with Palpatine in the Victory Class Republic Cruiser

      If anything, this is the best year of LEGO Starwars summer wave so far. ALL of the minifigures look amazing! Especially the Darth maul although Maul had a completely different outfit in that saga they must have wanted to impress us with the new hip joint and arm printing, as well as JEK-14. Farther more I have found no problems with any set, and plan to buy all (but one) of them.

      Seriously though, I would hope that the films are more than just action. It might make a movie exciting, but it doesn't make it relate able as the characters are usually not fleshed out very much.

      Don't worry, you're not the only one. I'm extremely disappointed too. Han Solo as the exclusive minifigure? Ok, the version is exclusive, but I'm not so keen onto it compared to the 'head-to-toes-shiny' droid we got last year for the same promo. From the pictures I see, Han seems to have a double-sided face with a mummified version, a new brown coat, and the new hat. Hm...not interested at all Lego, sorry......
