    • Ok... ((SPOILERS AHEAD))

Erebor/Lonely Mountain- with Thorin, Balin, Dwalin, Bilbo, Nori, Dori, Ori, Gloin, Bifur, Bombur and a Vikings-style Smaug - Company are in the Lake-town attire, with new Key to Erebor and Arkenstone molds and LOTS of gold pieces, also a light-up stomach on Smaug to represent fire-breathing, and the Secret Door. Also the forges.

Barrels out of Bond- with Bilbo, Kili, Fili, Bofur, Oin, Tauriel, 2 Elven rangers, Bolg, and 2 Gundabad Orcs -Dwarves in the Prison attire (like Thorin 2013) with barrels for each, the River Gate (that connects to Mirkwood Elf Army) and river parts. (with Erebor this will complete the Dwarves at the time of arrival at Erebor as these dwarves stay in Lake-town).

      Something with Galadriel

If it is a true list, then someone needs to state a source.

    • Nah, it's just a wishlist. No source needed. I said spoilers as it might give away plot points of Desolation of Smaug.

MOST likely won't happen, Barrels set has already been made and the Smaug set is way to expensive all the dwarves in one set with different printings would take away too much money fro Lego because people then wouldn't have to get all the sets for all the dwarves

A fairly reliable list was already released: The Mirror of Galadriel: A set with Frodo and Galadriel.

Amon Hen Ambush: Includes 2 x Uruk-Hai , and Boromir, Hobbit could be Merry.

The Defence of Osgiliath: Includes 2 x Orcs, 1 x Gondor Soldier, and what could be a Ranger.

Witch King Showdown: Includes the Witch King Theoden, a Rider of Rohan (Eowyn), a white horse and a Nazgul.

The Battle of Minas Tirith: The big set wave with Gandalf, 2 x Gondor Soldiers , 4 x Orcs, a Troll and a hobbit (Pippin).

Hasn't that already been confirmed as fake?

If it was, I apologize. I hadn't heard.

I heard that. I'm thinking at this point, the boxes might still say "There And Back Again" because it would be too late to change them

Yeah, they did the same with "An Unexpected Journey", because when "Desolation of Smaug" was announced, they just added a box saying Trilogy Preview Set.

    • First things first, you will be receiving The Lonely Mountain as the biggest set. And yes, it includes Smaug. Don't forget the Arkenstone as well! (Be sure to put this on your article of The Lonely Mountain set).

While The Battle of the Fives Armies set is harder to explain, I'll tell you about the Lake Town one.

The Lake Town set includes the tower of which *SPOILERS* Bard shoots the Black Arrow to kill Smaug. This set will include Bain. (Be sure to put this on your article of The Lake Town set)

And finally the Dol Goldur set. This set features a small rock like structure and a feature. It comes with Galadriel. (Be sure to put this in your article of The Dol Goldur set)

Hope this information hypes you EVEN MORE. I know it did for me when I first read it!

    • Y'know, I hope that if they're doing a Lake-town set, they release Tauriel as her Lake-town version from the movie and game. And, I was thinking, if they wanted to give her a more accurate hairpiece, a cross between the generic elf-hair and Arwen's hairpiece would work. Still keep all the braids, just style it more after Arwen's.

    • Rant time: I saw that pictures came out of the new sets, and I'm disappointed to say the least. My main issues are that the following figures are not present--Beorn in bear form, or at least with a different face variation, Bolg (why another Azog?), an armored Thranduil (I'd prefer him to another Legolas), and at least a couple Iron Hills dwarves or 2-3 from the traveling company. Overall, the sets look nice, but the figures are lacking. Why is Bard in two sets? They could've put a Lake-Town soldier of sorts in the Battle of the Five Armies set, and a warg for that matter. And I don't quite understand Galadriel's angry face. It looks weird.

        Loading editor
    • Wait... THERE ARE PICS FROM THE NEW SETS?! Where?!

I really want that set with Galadriel... Anytime there's female LotR or Hobbit figs that I can find, I'm on it, man!

They were up on here yesterday but taken down for some reason

        Loading editor
    • I am the one who posted them up! Brikcipedia had deleted it because LEGO had asked all the sites to deleted those images. Nevermind, I will posted the infomation about the minifgures again here!

      79015 Witch-king Battle---Galadriel, Witch-king, Elrond(armoured) 79016 Attack on Lake-town---Bard(normal, same as79013 one), Bain, Tauriel, 2 Orc 79017 The Battle of Five Armies---Dain II Ironfoot, Thorin(armoured), Legolas, Bard(armoured), Azog(it is really Azog, not Bolg! What a pity), 2 Gundabad Orcs. And a Great Eagle. 79018 The Lonely Mountain(The images wasn't taken down in 79018)---Bilbo(Lake-town), Balin(Lake-town), Dwalin(Lake-town), Kili(Lake-town), Fili(Lake-town). And Smaug.

        Loading editor
    • @Gman284, it is not Thranduil, it is a Legolas! And there is Galadriel in 79015, don't worry. But !!!!!pity!!!!!, there are only Azog , but no Bolg.

@Blackwisp, O if that is true, it will be the most unsucess series in LEGO. There are no Gondor sets except Pirates Ship Ambush. No Eowyn and Faramir and Gothmog and Witch-king, how can it happens???XD

@Jessanna Stansu, Tauriel will got her Lake-town clothes, but it will be similar to the one in 79001.

@Brunito's, the comic-con had passed, isn't it? Bard(armoured) was giveaway in that comic-con.

    • Sweet! Tauriel and Galadriel in one wave?! I am one happy female Lego fan!

        Loading editor
    • Yes, they comes in the samw wave. But I also want Eowyn too.

        Loading editor
    • You and me both, buddy. Right directly after Tauriel, Eowyn is the best in my opinion.

        Loading editor
    • @Prince of Erebor: I know it is Legolas, I was saying I'd rather have an armored Thranduil than a probably same variant Legolas. The lack of Bolg disappoints me and Galadriel's angry expression seems out of place.

        Loading editor
    • @Gman284, I agree with you, Galadriel's angry expression is look like Frodo's poisoned face!!! And I would like to see an armoured Thranduil and an Ironhill Dwarf. But I guess, for the past experience of The Hobbit series, I think that LEGO will released one hero, and one of the Five Armies troop.
      Unexpected Journey:
      -Gandalf
      -Mirkwood Elf
      Desolation of Smaug:
      -Legolas
      -Lake-town guard
      Battle of Five Armies(Predict)
      -Thorin/Bilbo/Bard/Thror/Bolg
      -Ironhill Dwarf

        Loading editor
    • But this is just a guess, maybe it is not true!

        Loading editor
    • I hope it's Bolg or a different Beorn

        Loading editor
    • Yes, I would like to see a Beorn in Bear form. But those polybags are just my guess, may not be true.

        Loading editor
    • Sorry, I forget to claim that it is The Hobbit polybags but not a set.

        Loading editor
    • I understand that, and I don't see Beorn or Bolg happening since the past two waves of polybags were figures that were also released in sets for that wave, so maybe an orc and one of the main characters?

        Loading editor
    • I would like a dwarf more than an orc.

        Loading editor
    • Polybags? Like the CMFs?

        Loading editor
    • While these sets may not seem appealing at the moment. I advise all of you guys don't judge a book by its cover. In other words, wait and see the benefits of these sets and don't just look at the costs.

        Loading editor
    • @Jessanna: No, like the Gandalf at Dol Guldur or the Lake-Town Guard little mini sets.

@Shy Ty: I think the sets look nice, it's the figure choices I'm not overly fond of

        Loading editor
    • Oh, now I get it. Understood.

        Loading editor
    • After seeing reviews and what not I do like them more, but I'm still disappointed, especially if this is the last wave of Middle-earth sets ever.

        Loading editor
    • Yes, I agree that The Hobbit wave 3 is so bad. But I don't think this will be the last wave of Middle-earth sets. As, The Lord of the Rings had not yet discontinued, so there might be more sets, or else why don't LEGO just close the file?

        Loading editor
    • Wave 3 has hit Toys 'R' Us, at least! Haven't seen them in Walmart, haven't been to Target, but I went to TRU a few days ago. Really can't wait till Christmas so I can tear into the Attack on Lake-town set.

The Witch-king Battle set was a little smaller then I thought, even when I built it, but I love the figures that came with it.

        Loading editor
    • My Toys-R-Us have all of the sets except the Lonely Mountain, and I do like them a bit more after seeing them in person. I find it weird though that the Witch-King Battle goes between toe two Dol Guldur sets, it just looks out of place.

        Loading editor
    • I bought Witch king Battle only. I want Lonely Mountain too but Until now I can't find this set in most of the stores.

        Loading editor
    • I got the Witch-King Battle and plan on getting the other 3 eventually

        Loading editor
    • Is the Middle-earth line really discontinued? It's possible that the sales have been decreasing, but given the massive support for the theme it's weird that TLG would let something like that go without even doing Minas Tirith. Maybe Ideas/Cuusoo will help.

        Loading editor
    • I don't think it's discontinued. I think they're taking their time, figuring out what would be best to make as a set, what characters they can introduce, the usual. At least, I hope it's what they're doing. Frankly, all I want is a set with Eowyn in it!

Oh, Prince of Erebor, I forgot to tell you before, if you still haven't found The Lonely Mountain, try a TRU. That's where my brother found his.

    • I bought 79018 today, I will build it as soon as possible. I really looking forward to have a Smaug Figure!!!! That will be AWESOME!!!!!!

    • I kind of wish they'd released another, less expensive set with Smaug. My brother's got all the LEGO dragons in the house. All I've got is a hand-me-down Megablocks dragon from my cousins (Which is missing a leg, but I don't mind. Makes him look cool!) and a sort-of dragon I built out of a cobbled together mix of Hero Factory and CHI Eris...

As Gru said in Despicable Me... light bulb. Lego How to Train Your Dragon! That's two themes I've got to get on Lego Ideas!
