Torso

A torso is the central part of a LEGO minifigure. It connects with the hands and arms to create the "middle part".

The torso is holed and has a stud on top of it to mount the head. This also allows items that go over the torso, such as air tanks, capes or breastplates, to be attached. There are holes on the left and right side to plug in the arms.

The first torsos were white and had imprint on the front. Nowadays many colors are available. But the material of the torso is always in one color. Black, white, blue, red, green and yellow or orange.
