Captain Soto's Crew is a crew of pirates and minor villains led by Captain Soto in Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu season two and cameos in season six.

Some two hundred years before the time of the Ninja, Soto's crew and their Destiny's Bounty were the rivals of the Sky Pirates led by Nadakhan aboard the Misfortune's Keep. After besting their foes in battle, the Pirates were killed after No Eyed Pete crashed them into the cliffs of Ninjago, because the pirates were searching for the lost fabled Island of Darkness. Using the Mega Weapon, Lord Garmadon accidentally wished for them to be on alive once again however the Crew took over the ship, and locked Lord Garmadon and the Serpentine in the brig. Then they had a raid on Ninjago and kidnapped Darreth. The ninjas then saved Darreth and the pirates got away. The Pirates made a cameo in Ninjaball Run as part of the road race, they were the first to lose in the race.

Main article: Captain Soto

First Mate[]

The First Mate is a Ninjago Pirate from Captain Soto's Crew.

Years before the ninja owned the Bounty, the Pirates did. He was left in charge of steering the ship. One day he left No Eyed Pete in charge and the ship crashed. The Crew went with. Years later Lord Garmadon created the Mega Weapon and wished the pirates back.

Background[]

The First Mate was among Soto's crew of pirates that sailed the Destiny's Bounty among the seas of Ninjago in the era of the Stone Wars, two hundred years prior to the age of the Ninja. At some point, the crew took down the Misfortune's Keep, a feared pirate ship under the command of Nadakhan.

When Captain Soto's pirates set sail in search of the Island of Darkness, the First Mate partied with several other pirates on the main deck, allowing No-Eyed Pete to steer the Destiny's Bounty. As a result, they quickly ended up steering the ship back to Ninjago and crashing into its rocky coasts, where the First Mate perished along with the rest of the crew.

Appearances[]

No Eyed Pete[]

"Where? I can't see!"

-No-Eyed Pete

No Eyed Pete is a member of Captain Soto's pirate crew. He has two eye patches on both of his eyes and relies on a talking parrot to tell him what to do.

No Eyed Pete is left to steer Captain Soto's boat when he is preoccupied. Despite his parrot telling him where to steer, the boat crashes in Ninjago. Years later, Lord Garmadon resurrects Pete and the rest of the crew. The crew then lock Garmadon, and the Serpentine with him, in the bottom of the ship. Pete at one point fights Cole and is arrested by Ninjago city's police along with the rest of the crew.

Later, in the episode Ninjaball Run, he is driving the Pirate car with Captain Soto and a gunner. He crashes the car into a rock during the race, because he is blind, and the Darkley's boys knock his car around.

He is later seen in Kryptarium Prison with Captain Soto.

Notes[]

• The parrot seems to lack intelligence or, at the very least, the ability to articulate proper orders, since all it says is "Right! Left! No, your other left!"
