This is not a blog containing customs or anything else that I may have produced LEGO Digital Designer, if you came here for that, feel free to turn off right now. If you want to stick around, be my guest.

Firstly, I'd like to state that LEGO Digital Designer is (at the moment) purely an application kept running to the public because the LEGO Company and the LDD team care enough to do so. If you think there is something wrong with LDD or that they don't have enough parts, take it up with the people devoted to it and see what they say. I (deeply) care for this program and would love for it to stay rather than being abolished. Don't take a good thing for granted.

With that being said, it is time to get to the fun part. Do you feel constrained in LDD sometimes? If so, I'd like to point a few things out.

Colors will obviously seem short considering the large amount of LEGO colors produced throughout the years. Fear not, for there are many colors that have been removed from the LDD palette but can still be used.

Here is a palette with various colors (Including two colors introduced in 2012) that can be saved as a template and used. If you're a BIONICLE fan, here is a palette including only BIONICLE colors. If you're new to LDD, I will include template instructions below, too.
