9488 Elite Clone Trooper and Commando Droid Battle Pack

This is a great set with 3 new minifigures. The ARC trooper has to be one of the best minifigure lego has ever made detailwise. The new ARF looks similar to the old one except the visor is slightly curved up and the red markings. The Commando droid is a bit weird because of the brown magnaguard legs but otherwise a great sculpt. The set comes with two commando droids.

Pros:

3 great new figs
Flickfire missile easy to use
Extra visors and headlights
ARC trooper comes with great new kama and pauldron which allows sitting, the bane of my other clone commanders
Cannon rotates up and down about 70 degrees

Cons:

Cannon muzzle looks a little odd
Commando droid legs
Set should have been larger; the cannon is too large (clone wars tv show) for a battle pack remake

Overall, this is an excellent set but mostly for the figs. It costs around $US 12.99 and i give it a 9/10.

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Release

As you may know, LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars was released today. Since I pre-ordered the game two months ago at Gamestop, I will be getting the game tommorow (3/23/11). I got the game today in the mail and played it for about 2 hours. So far, it is incredible! The new hub, The Resolute is small and the characters that you can buy walk around and when you click on the, you get the option to buy it. The galaxy map is amazing. You can play about 3 different storylines in one save profile! Almost each episode has a level to beat. The graphics are good and there are some really funny bits. There are some cons though; 1. the hub is extremely small! 2. Some levels are harder and longer (in my opinion). The clones are really cool and you can control them in arcade mode. Arcade mode is the mode where you can control groups of clones and attack defending Seperatist bases. I have not done any flying (spaceship) levels yet, but I am sure there will be some. There are about the same number of characters as in the complete saga. All of the movement of characters is more fluent. "A" button usually accelerates things (Animals, speeders). The clones in this game are awesome! There are tons of different kinds. Commander Stone, Commander Bly and Captain Rex are the ones that I have played so far. Unfortuneately, I've discovered some glitches. 1. In arcade mode, it is possible to have a tie where no-one can do anything but the same thing over and over again because the silver objects (only destroyable by explosives) sometimes glitch and cannot be destroyed by anything 2. The game glitches and freezes sometimes (happened once so may have been my Wii). Commander Stone is my favorite character in it thus far. Now that I have played a lot more, I realize that the hub is actually enormous! I had only unlocked a few things, so the hub expanded the more levels I completed. I also figured out that there are three storylines in a single save profile. 1.Count dooku (done the most of) 2. Grievous (done a littlew bit) 3. Asajj Ventress (done none). Some thinbgs in the game are tricky because they do not tell you what to do, you really have had to have seen the actual Clone Wars series to understand. I've played some more and have found out how to get sith or Seperatist characters. 1. Go to the hangar (Requires 10 gold bricks) 2.Select ship and leave hangar 3. Go to the right and follow red arrow till you see a ship 4. Board and youll be able to buy the other characters. I already bought Cad Bane there. I'll try to edit some more stuff soon. 7913 Clone Trooper Battle Pack Review

7913 Clone Trooper Battle Pack is a great set because it comes with a wide range of clone troopers and costs from $12.99 to $14.99 depending on where you get it.

Pros

Amazingly detailed minifigures (Bomb Squad, Horn company, and ARF)
Arf helmet is awesome (looks like camaflauged if you put arf helmet on horn company trooper body)
Big speeder - larger than BARC but smaller than Freeco
Range of weapons

Cons

LACK OF NORMAL CLONE(S)!!! - correct me if i am wrong but no 2011 lego star wars set has normal clone toopers! I guesss lego thought everybody wanted printed clones more than normal ones and got rid of them.
Speeder's blaster gets a little in the way when putting trooper in

This is overall a pretty good set for it's price and comes with a few cool minifigs. I would give it an 8.5 of 10 for it's lack of normal clone troopers. Clone Commander Fox 21:10, February 15, 2011 (UTC)

Grenade Launcher

I have figured out how to make a cool looking grenade launcher out of lego. Heres the picture of it.

Sorry its a little blurry

Step 1 - Take Boba Fetts gun (i dont know what it is actually called)
Step 2 - Put a commander pistol in the back
Step 3 - Put a transparent red one round stub in the scope
Step 4 - Place a cylinder piece on the front

Mandalorian Battle Pack

The 7914 Mandalorian Battle Pack is a great set and I reccomend it to anyone who wants to diversify their minifigure collection. The set costs around USD $12.99-14.99 depending on where you get it.

Pros

Four all new mandalorians
Awesome turret
speeder
Big base turet

Cons

Turret only goes at a 45 degree angle if a mandalorian is holding it
weird faces (good they have helmets)
speeder's handle comes off easily
all the same fig, maybe one with dif printing (assassin)

Minifigures

Four mandalorians with gray jetpacks

Agent Chase Brickfilm Script Proposal

1 Scene 1 – Coruscant (jail – lego cube with a hole on one side)
2 Scene 2 – Cantina (Resturant)
3 Scene 3 – Mobile command center
4 Scene 4 – Coruscant – high ledge/hallway
5 Scene 5 – Mobile command center
6 Scene 6 – Coruscant (back at jail with hole)
7 Scene 7 – Swamp raid tower (many agents surrounding tower with chase and charge on top)
8 Scene 8 – Swamp raid tower (repairing ships, helping the wounded agents)

Scene 1 – Coruscant (jail – lego cube with a hole on one side) Edit

Frenzy: (Breaks out of prison and turns right with gold blocks)
Frenzy: Ha Ha Ha, those police will never catch me
Clone Commander: Runs out of the hole where Frenzy broke out in a walker
Clone Commander: You are under arrest. Stop and surrender
Frenzy : Never, Im getting out of here (hops into space police vehicle parked outside( from set 5969)

(Chase) (Frenzy gets off Coruscant without getting caught)

Frenzy: I need to find a partner in crime and I know just where to look!

(Enters hyperspace)

Scene 2 – Cantina (Resturant) Edit

Boba Fett (Shoots gun and kills skeleton drone)
Boba Fett: That’s what he gets for not paying off his debt
Frenzy: (walks in and sees Boba and walks torward him and sits down)
Frenzy: I’d like to make a deal. I’ll give you a gold bar (takes one from beside him)and you help me kill an agent named: Agent Chase
Boba Fett: (thinks a while) I’ll do it

Both walk out of cantina together and hop into slave 1

Scene 3 – Mobile command center Edit

S.P.C.: (talking to luke)
S.P.C.: Right away sir. I’ll capture the demozian senator for you.
Luke: Good, good. Get to it then.

Scene 4 – Coruscant – high ledge/hallway Edit

S.P.C.: (setting trap) (– cage from mobile command center) (held by a rope in the air) (X on floor under trap) (agent chase on ledge about 10 stories up)
Senator Demoz : – (red rock monster) (walking and whistling) (steps on trap and trap falls capturing him)
Senator Demoz: Ogla Boofla Doogle Kidlle Piddle! (alien language :P )
S.P.C.: Got ya! Now I might get that promotion luke told me about! Yes!
S.P.C.: (hauls cage to the edge of the ledge and drops it) (Rock monster remember)
S.P.C.: (slowly descends with grappling hook) (Goes into ship with rock monster)

Scene 5 – Mobile command center Edit

S.P.C.: (Shows luke his prize)
Luke: I’m very plea –
Boba Fett: (Shoots luke and luke dies)
S.P.C.: Noooooo! You’ll pay fett! (hops into ship and flies off)
Frenzy: (comes out from hiding behind a tree) (-just some brown and green bricks)

Rebels come to attack against boba fett + frenzy

Boba (shoots 2 rebels)
Boba: Ya

Frenzy’s arm is shot off

Frenzy: Owwwwwy! My arm!
Boba: Don’t worry, you still have more arms than me

All rebels in retreat (different/ various spaceships)

Frenzy: Wahoooooo. (Trying to put arm back in socket :P )
Boba Fett: All that stands in my way is that Agent Chase. By the way…. Why do you hate chase so much?
Frenzy: Let’s just say I used to have more than 4 arms
Demoz: Ulle Gigbu!!!

Scene 6 – Coruscant (back at jail with hole) Edit

(Clone Commander with other clones inspecting the area) (in formation of storm troopers in episode 4 when they wouldn’t let Kenobi and Luke through)

Clone Commander: Where could he have gone?

Boba Fett and Frenzy riding in turbo car towards crime scene

Boba: Stay down. We don’t want them seeing you!
Frenzy: (ducks into trunk or below seats)
Clone Commander: Excuse me, have you seen an alien. Maybe 1 and a half inches tall, four arms and green?
Boba: No.
Clone Gunner; I’m sorry, but this is restricted property, so you are going to have to leave…
(Boba Shoots gunner in the chest, jumps out of car, shoots another clone, commander calls for backup) (- on walkie talkie) (Clone shoots boba’s gun and goes flying out of his hands) (Frenzy leaps out and shoots clone) (Commander runs into the jail, but shot in the back) (boba gets his gun, and walks back into car with frenzy)

Frenzy: Let’s go.

Scene 7 – Swamp raid tower (many agents surrounding tower with chase and charge on top) Edit

S.P.C.: Get me everything you know about boba fett now!
Han Solo: Ummmmmm… Yes sir!!
Han Solo: (picks up binocular pair/computer) Well it looks like he is a mandalorian bounty hunter, but that’s all the computer knows
S.P.C.: Hmmmmmm… Was anybody else with him
Solo: Yes.. a green alien with 4…. Ummm 3 arms. I think his name is frenzy
Solo: He is a newly escaped criminal from Coruscant jail.
S.P.C.: Well then, we have some criminals to catch
Solo: Yes sir….

Scene 8 – Swamp raid tower (repairing ships, helping the wounded agents) Edit

S.P.C.: (Insert random name here), could you hand me that wrench (fixing a ship)
Frenzy: Here you go (hands him the wrench) (lego wrench comes in a lot of sets or just replace wrench with any lego tool you have)
S.P.C.: What the? (Slides his body out from under the ship and puts hands up)
Boba Fett: (appears on top of the tower)

(Rebels look up at him and frenzy) (all pull out blasters)

Snowtrooper Battle Pack

The 8084 Snowtrooper Battle Pack is a great deal for your money even though it is very much alike and different than 8014 Clone Walker Battle Pack.

Pros:

4 minifigures
Speeder
Missle Launching
Quick build (could be a con in your case, but i prefer to get building over with and on to playing with it)
Gun holders

Cons:

Black Faces
Flimsy Sattelite
Imperial officer not that cool

Minifigs:

Clone Walker Battle Pack

the Clone Walker Battle Pack is agreat set for any one who wants to add some clones to their army without paying much.

Pros:

4 clones for $10!!!
Clone Gunner and Commander
Walker is cool
If falls apart, easy to put back from memory

Cons:

hard to stand walker up straight

Overall this set is a bargain for $10 and you get 2 clones, a gunner, and a commander. I give this set a 9.5 out of 10. Link - 8014 Clone Walker Battle Pack

Freeco Speeder

Well, I ordered this set from lego.com on feb. 1 and it was on backorder so it shipped february 9. It just arrived today and I built it in 25 minutes. It was a bit dissapointing that the cockpit had a giant gap in it cause it kind of ruined the whole set. But anyway,

Pros:

Cockpit opens well
Great Thi-Sen!
Cool storage area.
Good size
Awesome stickers

Cons:

Gaping hole in cockpit
Cockpit does not fully close
Front leg breaks off a bit easily

Minifigures:

Thi-Sen - the head and back armor is connected
Anakin Skywalker (Parka version)

Overall this is a good set excluding the hole, so I give it a 8.5 out of 10. Link - 8085 Freeco Speeder
