I sold my gamecube last summer for the Garmadon's Dark Fortress set, so me and my games were far apart. I could play gamecube games on the Wii, but I didn't have a Nintendo Brand Memory Card to play my old saves. But I still remember one of my favorite games for it: Paper Mario and the Thousand Year-Old Door. The RPG battling was great, the story was awesome, it was toned-down and simple, the music was memorable, the secret areas were fun to find, and it was just 100% great. There were tons of interesting side-quests with great rewards and not simple healing items or common buyables, but new party members and badges. I loved the party members, with each one having their own quirks and abilities, but Goombetta was my favorite by far. My favorite world had to be that one arena world (sadly I can't remember the name). The battling was fun, and I could play the battles forever. The story was a secret, mysterious tone which surrounded recent wrestler disappearances. The end-boss was great, and leaving that world was a really sad experience. I will enjoy and cherish the memories of Paper Mario forever, and I hope you check it out in the future.

Never misuse classic games! They are the greatest ones out there, and not those soul-less shooting games you play (though Goldeneye 007 was awesome). Check out these other great games:

Banjo-Kazooie (Gameplay similar to Super Mario 64)

Banjo-Tooie (Adventure is fun, story is fresh and exciting, secrets are everywhere)

Minecraft (Survival is awesome; you can mine, build, and battle fierce creatures)

Portal 2 (Puzzles are hard, but good and challenging fun)

Goldeneye 007 (Wii version has the greatest Multiplayer)

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Story is awesome, and the puzzles are fun to solve)

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (Mind-breaking puzzles, fun battles, interesting story)

Cave Story (Picture a beefed-up classic Metroid with good story and epic puzzles)

Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut (Fun stages, cool items, and end battle to end all of it's other end battles!)
