Ok, now I am just plain MAD at LEGO. Today I was walking at my local store, looking for the LEGO section, and then I look at a bundle of pink boxes. At first I thing it was Barbie, until I saw LEGO Friends written on one of them!! I could barely find 2 or 3 LEGO city and ninjago boxes, but besides that, it was ALL friends. The worst part is, in case some of you haven't noticed, LEGO universe closed almost at the same time LEGO Friends appeared. Could LEGO actually do this to us? Could they possibly replace what might have possibly been LEGO's greatest project, with it's worst? I will NOT buy LEGOs until I see at least 7 boxes that aren't pink!!! IF LEGO UNIVERSE IS GONE, LEGO FRIENDS MUST GO WITH IT!!!! IF FRIENDS IS LEGO'S REPLACEMENT FOR LU, I SUPPOSE I MIGHT AS WELL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!

Mods, if I am mistaken, please correct me. I just HATE it that they remove a product everyone loves with a product not even the girls like.

Hi Gooseter400,

You might not like Friends but it's one of the best selling LEGO products of the year so far. It's extremely popular.

Friends isn't a replacement for LU, though. Friends are physical sets. LEGO Universe was an MMO. There are many new sets coming out this year, including Marvel Superheroes and Lord of the Rings, so Friends isn't replacing anything. It's just one of many new lines that can appeal to a wider audience. Friends is primarily for girls and there are not many of those types of sets. I'm sure the shop you were in also had Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Dino, DC Superheroes, Ninjago and other more boy-related sets.

Kind regards,

^^Odd. They say those themes are boy-related....
