Hello, everybody. This is your friendly neighborhood user who sits around in chat all day and never contributes, and I'm here to start a sort of campaign in hopes of brightening up everyone's day a bit. I know that a number of you are already doing this, and I very much appreciate that (you rock, guys), but here's something for the rest of us. If this campaign doesn't work, that's okay; I'll try something else.
Okay, enough stalling. To the point.
The next 168 hours are official Brickipedia Awesomeness Week. Your job is to contribute to the wiki, and, via talk page messages, show your appreciation for other peoples' contributions. It's as simple as this: say out loud how awesome we all are (admit it, we are.) Dish out your praise to everyone you know, and especially to people you tend to ignore or underappreciate. While you're at it, don't forget the IPs! They're humans, too.
You don't have to participate if you don't want to. However, if you're grumpy and refuse to accept the compliments, it might be time to take a break from the wiki and come back with a fresh attitude.
There is no official membership in this campaign; just do it. Start...right...now!
For the tl;dr folks: We are awesome. Spread the news.
