Wikipedia

Wikipedia is a collaboratively developed, free content encyclopedia. It is much like Brickipedia except for the fact that it is a general knowledge encyclopedia rather than being specific to one thing (as this wiki is LEGO specific).
Wikipedia could be viewed as a "mother project" of sorts to Brickipedia. While there is no official relationship, it is doubtful that this site would ever have existed without the inspiration of Wikipedia. Wikipedia is a wiki that has information on anything legitimate, though while it existed, there have been some smaller wikis, like Brickipedia that are devoted to one thing.
